THE ERA OF METAL

COPPER AGE

The Copper Age is the age that came right before the Bronze age. This was the age in which we began to evolve from the Stone Age. The reason why The Copper Age was so important is that before, in The Stone Age, everything we made was muscle-driven, but then they found an easier way to get through life, Copper. Now they could just hammer trees down instead of working on pushing it down for weeks. They could make nails, and roofs with Copper. And without this age there would not have been the Bronze Age, or the Iron Age, which were both also important.

BRONZE AGE
The Bronze Age was the age in which we began to use bronze in our weapons, and we also began using Pro-Writing, as a way to write things down. In Greece and China the Bronze Age began as early as 3000 B.C.E, whereas in Britain, it did not start until 1900 B.C.E. We also began forming, small tribes, and began to hunt in packs, and harvest grain. We had built small boats that could hold about ten people, and we would travel to different places to trade jewelry, and clothing to other places. By the time the Bronze Age came around Britain had already learnt how to tame horses, and made carts with wheels. The Bronze age was quite important, because that is when we began to civilize, and evolve more to where we are today as a society.

IRON AGE
The Iron Age is the age in which we evolved even more!  It began in Europe in around the 6th century B.C. The Iron Age is divided into two parts: Iron I, and Iron II. many people lived in simple hill forts surrounded by walls and ditches to protect them from attacks. We had tribes, and  everyone had a job. Farmers had sheep, cows, and goats, and grew crops. Some people worked as potters, other metalworkers. Men and boys trained as warriors; they had to be prepared to fight at any moment. They could communicate with each other through symbols on stones, and metal. They had coins, in which they could trade. There were some people that made clothes and they would sell them for money. The Iron Age was most important because they made things that we all use today such as clothes, pots and pans, and  metal swords.
